Mahjong Lessons in Mequon & Cedarburg

I happily make the drive north: Mequon, Cedarburg, Thiensville, and Grafton are all regular stops for me. Group lessons are $50/person for two hours, parties are $400 flat for up to 8 players, and I arrive with everything: tiles, racks, cards, mats.

The Cedarburg scene

Mahjong is the new wine night

Cedarburg already knows how to host. The historic downtown does girls’ weekends, winery afternoons, and birthday getaways better than just about anywhere in Wisconsin. A mahjong party slots right into that lineup. Book the flat-rate party ($400 for up to 8 players), and I’ll turn your Airbnb living room, B&B parlor, or back patio into a proper mahjong parlor for the evening.

Nobody needs to know a thing beforehand. I teach as we play, everyone’s laughing by the first Charleston, and by the end of the night your group has a new tradition that travels home with them. Pour whatever you like. I’ll handle the tiles.

Mequon & Thiensville

Home groups that stick

Parties are the spark; lessons are what makes it last. My Mequon students are mostly foursomes of friends and neighbors who wanted a standing game of their own. We meet at one house (or rotate), and after the recommended three sessions they’re running a weekly table without me. Grafton and Thiensville groups, same deal: if there’s a card table and four curious people, I’m in.

  • · Group lessons at $50/person, groups of 3 or more, 2 hours
  • · Private coaching at $150 for two focused hours
  • · Evenings & weekends available. North-of-the-city trips are easy for me

How it works

From text to tiles

Send me a text or use the form below. Tell me whether it’s a Cedarburg weekend, a Mequon living room, or something else entirely. We’ll find a date over a couple of messages (no booking widgets, on purpose), and on the day I show up with the whole kit. First-timers are playing real hands within the hour.
