Mahjong Lessons in Waukesha & Lake Country
Waukesha, Pewaukee, Delafield, Oconomowoc, Hartland. I’ll come to you, tiles and all. Group lessons are $50/person for two hours, and since Lake Country is a longer drive for me, full tables of 8 and flat-rate parties are where you get the most out of the trip.

Out here, summer runs on the water: boat mornings on Pewaukee or Okauchee, long afternoons on the pier, and then that golden stretch of evening when everyone drifts back inside. That’s the mahjong hour. Tiles clacking on the screened porch while the sun drops over the lake is, I promise, the best thing you’ll add to your summer weekends.
Lake Country hospitality has always had supper-club energy: unhurried, generous, everybody around one table. American Mah Jongg fits it like a relish tray fits a Friday night. Gather the cottage crowd, the cousins, or the neighbors from three doors down the shoreline, and I’ll teach the whole porch at once.

Groups of 8
Two full tables at one lake house or Delafield living room. Same $50/person, twice the laughter, and the whole crew learns together over three sessions.

$400 flat for up to 8 players: birthdays, cabin weekends, girls' trips to Oconomowoc. No experience needed; I teach while you play (and snack).
Parties →Team retreats
Off-site in Delafield or Hartland? A mahjong session is the rare team event people actually talk about afterward. Great for retreat afternoons.
Corporate events →Prefer solo coaching? Private lessons ($150/2 hours) work out here too. I just suggest pairing sessions back-to-back to make the drive count.
How it works
Text me, then set the table
One text with your town, your headcount, and a weekend or two that might work. That’s the whole booking process. I bring tiles, racks, NMJL cards, and mats for every player; you bring the porch, the people, and whatever’s on the grill. Evenings and weekends available all summer (and yes, mahjong is an excellent off-season sport too).
