Mahjong Parties in Milwaukee
A mahjong party is a flat $400 for up to 8 players and runs about 2.5 hours, anywhere in the Milwaukee area. I bring everything (tiles, racks, cards, and table mats), and by the end of the night, everyone at your party is actually playing mahjong. No experience required from a single guest.
Occasions
Any excuse for a table works
Birthdays
A party where the entertainment lasts all night and nobody’s watching a clock. Great for milestone birthdays especially.
Girls' nights
The upgrade your rotation needs. Wine and mahjong are, scientifically speaking, a perfect pairing.
Bachelorette parties
A daytime or wind-down activity the whole group can do together: matching tiles optional, matching pajamas encouraged.
Bridal & baby showers
Something to actually do between the mimosas and the gifts. Grandmothers tend to run the table, fair warning.
Book clubs
For the month nobody finished the book. (I don’t judge. The tiles don’t either.)
Holiday gatherings
Office-adjacent or family-style: a mahjong table gives a holiday party a center of gravity.

I arrive & set up
I show up a bit early and turn your tables into mahjong tables: racks, tiles, mats, cards, all of it.

The crash course
A quick, funny, zero-jargon intro to the tiles and the goal of the game. Nobody gets lectured at a party.

Guided play
We deal real hands and play with me floating between seats, nudging, cheering, and answering every question.

Everyone’s playing
By the end, the table runs itself and I’m mostly there for the applause. That’s my favorite part.
Host checklist
Your to-do list is short
- · A table and chairs for every 4 players (card tables are perfect)
